About Me

My name is Paul Welden and I am a REALTOR® with HomeSmart Real Estate. I own & operate this site, CheapPhoenixHomes.com, where I help home buyers find & buy cheap real estate & homes for sale in the Phoenix area, including REO (bank owned) properties, Foreclosures & other Distressed Sales, HUD Homes 50% off.  My clients can search for their home on their own by using the Phoenix MLS, which has about 55,000 for sale, or they use my VIP Buyer Service to beat out other buyers to HOT properties.  I also help buyers to get access to Grant Money for Down Payment Assistance.  HomeSmart is a local, family-owned Real Estate company serving the greater Phoenix area.  They are the 3rd largest realty firm in the area with close to 3,500 agents, and I am pleased to represent them as a full time Real Estate agent.

Before I began my Real Estate career, I worked very hard but smart to save up enough money to start & operate a successful Real Estate business. My planning and perserverance paid off, because 2007 was a very rewarding year for my clients & my Real Estate business, despite the fact that we were in a "declining" market. While most REALTORS® are struggling, I am succeeding because I give my clients superior service, "insider information" for free which includes access to grant money for down payment assistance, HUD homes, REO properties, foreclosures, MLS, etc., access to cutting edge technology, the protection & promotion of their best interests and by giving them the knowledge & information necessary to help them make good real estate decisions.

Although Real Estate is considered a sales business, I take on the role of a consultant, by offering my clients choices, guidance and advice. This unique approach to Real Estate enables my clients to retain control during their home buying process & make informed decisions instead of being led by sales tricks and gimmicks. By the time my clients get their keys to thier new home, they know almost as much about the Real Estate transaction as I do.

I have helped many people attain the goal of home ownership, some of whom didn't think it would be possible.
